Los Angeles, here we come!!!
Tuesday we got up, got our rental car and said goodbye to Aunt Jeanie, Kellen and Sammy the Dog. It was sad, but we were also excited for our next adventure! Except Sadie, she wasn't excited to go to the American Girl Store at all! ;)
Sadie is my car sleeper, always has been. She took a little nap on the drive to LA. Traffic wasn't bad at all, and it was a nice drive.
Uh-oh, SEAT BELTS, GIRLS!!We had booked a hotel in Marina del Rey, mostly because it was close to the beach and not too far from the AG store, so we would have things to do. We checked in and then decided to walk down to the marina and see what we could find. Turns out it was further of a walk than it seemed on the map (0.9 miles there), but we survived. The spot where we came to the marina happened to be a really nice section of beach with a park and... The Cheesecake Factory! Oh yeah!
After a quick dinner of appetizers, we headed back to our hotel and played a mean game of Skip-Bo before heading to bed. We needed some serious beauty sleep for what we were about to do the next day...
