Summer's Last Hurrah

Our next door neighbors spent the summer tearing down our old fence and building a new one. It was a long project, but having no fence between us was actually quite fun. The boys played together in the "new" huge yard daily, and it just felt nice to have no barriers. Thank goodness we love them! When Labor Day weekend rolled around, Jason was about ready to put the fence boards up, so we had a neighbor BBQ in our double yards.

And our neighbor Greg took the kids out front for a big ole water gun fight!

Then it was time to build the fire so we could make smores!!

Our Russian neighbors had never had smores before. They thought they were strange but good!

It is always sad when summer comes to an end, but what better way to see it out than good times with great friends?? :)
