Puerto Vallarta - Day 6

Thursday was a leisurely day of hanging out at the pool, eating, having a few drinks, the usual. That evening we set out on another adventure called Rhythms of the Night that we had booked through Vallarta Adventures. It began with an hour cruise across the Bay complete with music, entertainment and free drinks, yay!

Just as dusk was approaching, we landed at Las Caletas, a beach on the north side of the bay. It was beautiful!

We were greeted by Mr. Pelican. :)

We were split into groups and then led to different little mini restaurants/seating areas.

Then we had the pleasure of serving ourselves up from a big ole buffet full of food. It was delicious!

After dinner we were led to an outdoor amphitheater, where we watched an amazing show that told stories of ancient Mexican civilization and culture. It was breathtaking.

Bad picture, but this is the stage
Mayan chief. He was quite funny and started out the show. After this, we had to put away our cameras.

Then it was back on the boat for a quiet boat ride home with thousands of stars sparkling in the sky. What a wonderful evening we had!
