Puerto Vallarta - Day 4

Tuesday we were very excited to check out Bucerias, a little town 15 minutes North of Nuevo Vallarta. We were dropped off two blocks up from the beach in the middle of a street, which appeared to be the center of the town. We were immediately bombarded with merchants trying to sell us jewelry, purses, etc. We were led to the straw market and the shopping fun began! I love shopping, and I especially shopping in straw markets, looking for fun stuff and bartering with the locals!

After shopping two sides of a square block, we rounded the corner onto the street parallel to the beach. That is where we found Fat Boy, a restaurant right on the beach. We were hungry and in need of a break from the insane heat, so we stopped and ate. The food was amazing!

We shopped a bit longer and when the sweat wouldn't stop dripping down our backs, we headed back to our resort and spent the rest of the day cooling off in the pool. Ahhhhhh. :)
