More Washington

The day after we went to Orting, we headed up to Marysville, where I have yet another dear friend named Sarah. She has two kids, Emma and Luke, and we spent the day together just chatting and the kids playing. This is the only picture I took, naughty me!
That night we took Sadie to Seattle and handed her off to her Auntie Chrissie and Uncle Aaron, so she could spend the weekend with just them! The boys and I had fun at my parents' house just taking it easy and having some quality time with them.

Papa Tom and Drew cheesin' it up

Grandma Betsey has to read to the kids when we are there. Mom is not allowed to!

Drew got to help Grandma make her famous (well, famous to me!) pancakes for breakfast. He is such a great helper!
It was just our luck that my parents' next door neighbors were having a garage sale this weekend. We totally scored a bunch of great stuff! Included was the map game Take Off, which I loved playing as a kid! Well, wouldn't you know it, my map-loving son also loves it! Papa was so nice and played two or three times with him!
We also got a really great Coke puzzle. I love puzzles, and, go figure, so does Zack. (And sometimes I think we aren't very much alike, ha!) We started it Saturday and were done by the time we left Sunday!
Even though we couldn't see all the friends we wanted to, we had a good little trip and can't wait to go back again!
