This is Zack's first year playing soccer, and Thursday was his first game! My good friend, Jeni, unselfishly stepped up to coach with no prior knowledge of soccer since there was a shortage of coaches this year! Her son, Gavin, is Zack's best friend, so they are loving being on the same team together! Tony agreed to be the assistant coach, though his schedule hasn't allowed him to help much yet. In Kindergarten soccer, they play co-ed, 3 on 3. They did just great at their first game, despite the 8 or so other games going on all around in the same field. Yikes!

Of course, we ended up playing the only other team with the same exact jerseys. So our team had to wear pennies so the poor kids didn't get confused as to who was on their team!
