One activity that our kids were able to do was ride horses. Zack chose not to, but OF COURSE, Sadie wanted to! She was bummed that she was too young to do the actual trail ride, but she still had fun.

Drew was excited to ride a horse as well and got on with no problem. Then about a minute into the ride, the horse stumbled or jerked or something and Drew went tumbling off the horse. I had just stepped away to take a picture (of course), but fortunately, the girl leading the horse was quick and caught him. Talk about scary! Poor guy, he was so freaked out, he did not want to get back on the horse. I hope he isn't scarred for life...

When we got back, it had started to get pretty warm out, so we headed off to the lake to swim!

At the lake was this thing called the BLOB. One person jumps from a platform onto the BLOB and then moves down and sits at the end. Then another person jumps off the platform and "blobs" the first person into the water. Sadie wanted to do it SO badly, but you had to be 48 inches. We weren't sure how tall she was, and the lifeguards didn't seem to have a measuring device. After much persistence on Sadie's part and discussion among the lifeguards, she was allowed to go! She just got up there and jumped, not hesitation! She loved it!

The first jump

Flying in the air (disregard random guy in front)
When we got back from the lake, the men and super brave women who had gone paint balling were getting back. They were sweaty, sore and covered with paint. What a sight!

Is this how your goggles go, Daddy?

Ooooh, much better!
Sunday came and it was time to go home. But first, we went on a walk to check out Brightwood Station, part of the camp that was built a few years back. I cannot wait for my kids to come to camp and stay here! Each train car is a cabin with its own bathroom. How cool!

The boxcar

Way up high in the boxcar!

Heave, Ho!

Looks like so much fun. Glad you guys had a good time. Too bad we missed each other. We'll get together soon though.
What a fun family you have!! :)
Glad you all had a good time. Madison and Katelyn loved seeing pictures of many of the same activities they did. They liked that Sadie was riding Mictig too (or however you spell that horses name).:>)
It looks like you guys had so much fun!! :) I'm glad it worked out for you to go. Didn't they have a Blob at Malibu?! That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that. :) I hope to see you guys in August... your kids are getting SO big and it's been forever!
