Day 2 - Cruising

Monday morning we woke up after a fantastic night's sleep, pulled the curtains back and were welcomed by the HOT morning sun! Everyone who said we should splurge and get a balcony was so right, this was VERY worth it!

We had decided to order room service for breakfast and got to enjoy it in the warm sun staring at the ocean. Ahhhhhhh. :)



In the late morning, Tony and I had a couples' massage. It was wonderful, I wish I could have one weekly! Even once a month would be nice... We had lunch in the dining room and that is where we met Ron, Pam and Rozanne. They are from Texas and are good friends who have cruised together before. Rozanne's husband Frank had opted out of lunch and was hanging out in the sun on the pool deck. So after lunch we tagged along with them to find him. The pool deck was sunny and there was music and dancing so we hung out there for awhile. I miss that sun!! Later in the afternoon we met up with them again and did some wine tasting at the wine bar (called Vintages) with Frank and Ron. I don't really like wine but thought it would be fun to try some out. We ended up learning a lot and had a great time!

After wine tasting it was time to get ready for dinner again! This was the first formal dinner night, it was quite fun to get really dressed up and enjoy a delicious meal! I had prime rib, wow it was good!

Monday happened to be Pat's birthday, so against her will, our waiters sang to her. HeeHee!

We got back to our room to find our first towel friend. We both were cracking up!

That night the entertainment was a comedy show with two brothers who call themselves "Two Funny Guys". They were hilarious, I haven't laughed that hard in a looong time!

After the show we went upstairs to the Lotus Lounge and watched some of the karaoke competition. Good times!

Next stop... Cabo San Lucas!!
