Tree Shopping

Thanksgiving was so early this year, which also means we had to get our Christmas tree early as well!!  We went to our usual, favorite tree farm, Loch Lolly.  It was a gorgeous, not super cold day, just perfect for tree hunting.  And of course, we found the perfect tree for the first Christmas in our new house!

Nutcracker

Sadie dances at New Vision Dance Center and really loves it!  Every year New Vision does a Christmas show, alternating between the Grinch and the Nutcracker.  This year was Nutcracker and Sadie got to be in it for the first time!  Her part was an Arch Angel, which is at the beginning of Scene Two.  The Arch Angels usher Clara and the Prince into the Land of the Sweets.  I absolutely LOVE Nutcracker and it was extra special getting to watch Sadie perform in it!

Beach Weekend

Every November, I look forward to my annual girls' beach weekend with a group of nurses I worked with at my first job in Tacoma.  This year was no different!  I hardly took any pictures, but I guess that means I was too busy eating, talking, reading, laughing, playing games, getting a massage, shopping, doing a puzzle, eating some more and just having a wonderful time.  I am so blessed to have these friends!
