Spring Sports

Spring is a busy time for our family.  The boys both play baseball and this year, Sadie decided she wanted to try volleyball!  It's hard sometimes to be so busy, but I just love watching my kids having fun playing sports with their friends!

Sadie had a blast playing volleyball.  I think she found it is harder than she thought it would be, but she did great!  Her team name?  Er... Zombie Apocalypse.  Yikes!

This was Drew's second year playing t-ball.  He learned a ton this year, including how to not boss his teammates around!!  :P
Taking some tips from Coach Daddy

Nice snag, Buddy!
Auntie Alyssa came to watch Drew in action

Papa Paul and Grandma Jacque came, too!
This was Zack's 4th year playing ball.  It is really fun to watch the kids really get better and better at a sport!

Brothers!  So cute.  :)

I had to add this picture.  There was a full rainbow at one of Drew's games, it was amazing!

Kinder Zoo Field Trip

The annual Kindergarten filed trip at Jackson Elementary is a trip to the Oregon Zoo.  I have now gone on all three of my kids' Kindergarten Zoo trips and have loved every one!  It is a long day with a lot of walking, but it is still super fun.
Mrs. King (Mrs. Davis was on maternity leave) and her Kinders ready to go!
Drew and Tristan on the bus
Snack time!
Mrs. Davis even came and brought her new baby!
So fun, but kinda sad that this is my last Kindergarten Zoo trip.  Sniff sniff

Cali Trip - The End

And that is the end of my day by day chronicle of our awesome trip.  It was hard to leave and now I can't believe we have been home for 3 whole weeks.  But I am so very thankful that we were able to go and do the things we did, and I know we will all remember this trip forever.  Here's to the next family trip!  :D
It's hard to make sad faces for the camera, even when you really are sad!

Cali Trip - Day 7 - Last Day :(

Friday was our last day in the parks.  WAH!  The night before, we wrote out a list of everything we hadn't done but really wanted to do and the things we wanted to do one last time.  It was really busy in the parks, but I think we accomplished almost everything.
One last stroll down Main Street
Tinkerbell and Vidia at Pixie Hollow
Kids and the Matterhorn
Star Tours trip #5
The Enchanted Tiki Room had been closed for renovations but opened on Friday.  We had to go of course!

Back to California Adventure

Cars Land will be opening in June, so we missed it by a month.  We could see it over the fences, though, and it is going to be amazing!!  This is downtown Radiator Springs.  If you click on the picture, you can even see Stanley at the very end!  And the hills in the distance are part of the new ride, Radiator Springs Racers.

Toy Story's Green Army Men put on a little show

In Downtown Disney there is a store called Ridemakerz.  It's kind of like Build-A-Bear for boys.  You pick a car, then tires, rims, and all the accessories you can imagine and then you get to put your own car together.  It was right up Drew's alley!

Another thing I have never done at DL is take a ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat.  What a neat boat!

We did lots of shopping and looking.  There is just so much fun stuff and every store is different. Have I ever mentioned how much I love to shop?

Tony and Sadie wanted to go on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad again.  So Drew, Zack and I found a nice bench in the shade near a soothing waterfall.  I think someone was really tired!!

Friday was our only weekend night in the parks, so we had to catch the fireworks AND Fantasmic in one night!  It was crazy, but we did it!
Sleeping Beauty's castle all lit up for the firework show
We met up multiple times with our friends from home, the Lawson Family!
The end of Fantasmic, all the characters on the Mark Twain.

Cali Trip - Day 6 - More Fun!

Thursday we had no agenda, we just did more rides and more shows and had a ton more fun!
No one else in the pic!  (Ok, besides the guy in the way back, shhhh!)
 Astro Orbitor!

The Matterhorn and Nemo's Submarine

:)

 We found Tigger and Pooh!

And then we found some more ice cream.  Yessssss!!

Back to California Adventure we went.  Ahhh, park hopping is the BEST!

Then to Downtown Disney and dinner at ESPN Zone

Can you see why this is Tony's favorite restaurant??
And a few nighttime shots of Disney.  I don't think I got one of Disneyland, though.  Bummer.
