Christmas Eve

We left Federal Way after a nice big breakfast on Christmas Eve and headed home. That evening was the Christmas Eve service at church, which was really neat. We did a living nativity, and Sadie and I were angels. o :)

Angelic, aren't we?

Then it was off to Chevy's for our annual Tex-Mex Christmas Eve dinner with Tony's family.

Ole!

Once home, the kids set out milk and cookies for Santa and off they went to dream of sugar plums. Or not, because even I don't know what sugar plums are! :D

A Grayson Christmas

This year was our second Christmas without Dad. Mom decided that she was up for us coming up and doing Christmas at her house, so we went to Federal Way for a quick visit. The kids love going to Grandma's house and we all had a great time. We missed Dad being there, but we know that he was watching down on us. :)

My mom put together a really great scavenger hunt for the kids. I don't know think they had done one before, and they loved it!
Instructions from Grandma

Finding clues

And the reward at the end, chocolate!!

After the scavenger hunt, we headed off to look at some lights. We went to a neighborhood that has had lights every Christmas since I was a kid!

Then it was back to Mom's house for a yummy dinner

Present time!

Kahz even got a present (it lasted about 30 minutes...maybe)

The next morning was Christmas Eve and we had a delicious breakfast

And then opened stockings

And smiled for a few pictures

Thanks, Mom, for all your hard work making yet another Christmas fun and special. We love you!
