I DON'T heart computers

I have several posts I am wanting to do, but my stupid computer is deciding to not recognize anything plugged into it. That means no pictures uploaded onto the computer. So I will get back to blogging once I find someone who can actually help. Or when I get a new computer. Sheesh.

"Easter" Pictures

So my mom asked me today if I took an Easter picture of the kids this year like I always do. Oops. Well, I kind of did. Back in March we went to a wedding reception. I bought the kids' Easter outfits before the reception so they could wear them for that and for Easter. I took pics before the reception and then didn't again at Easter, because I already had pictures. So here are a couple "Easter" pictures! ;) The top one is my fave, which is yours?

Baseball Fever!

This past Tuesday was the Mariner's home opener against the Angels. Tony's sis Chrissie and her hubby Aaron got tickets to the game for Tony's Christmas present (I whined enough so I got to go, too!). It was a little complicated, as the game was midday and midweek, so we shipped each of the kids off to a different friend/relative's house so they wouldn't miss school and t-ball/softball practice.

Here's the rundown in a Mastercard sorta way:

Parking: $25
Game missed while in line getting food: 3 1/2 innings

The wind: bitterly cold

Watching Ken Griffey Jr. playing for the M's at Safeco Field once again: PRICELESS
The pretty field!

The roof opening, let the sun shine in!

Griffey!

THE WIN!!

Tony and me with the Fremont People (Chrissie and Aaron took us to dessert after the game)

Thanks Aaron and Chrissie for such a fun time. Let's do it again!

EASTER

Easter was amazing this year. I personally was able to focus on the whole reason for Easter this year more than any other. Jesus' death and resurrection mean SO much to me, that God loved little ole me enough to send his Son, Jesus, to suffer and die a horrible death so that my sins may be washed clean. Every sin, every time! And He raised His Son from the dead so that I may have life in Heaven after I leave this Earth. Can't get ANY better than that. Can I get an "AMEN"?

The kids and I did participate in our church's annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Johnson's lovely home (the same place where Sadie has had horse riding lessons, more on that later). It was cold and wet and Tony was gone fishing with his buddies, but we had a blast!

When Daddy got home, we colored Easter eggs, so much fun!

A Weekend at the Beach

Last weekend was my church's annual women's retreat in Cannon Beach, OR. We had 76 women come and it was an awesome weekend! Sunday morning as we were getting ready for breakfast, one of my friends found out that her husband had packed up their kids and was on his way to meet her at the beach! So a bunch of us thought that was an awesome idea, asked our husbands, and they headed to the beach after church to join us as well! It was a beautiful day and a really great ending to the retreat!
Sadie's special find - a shell!

Drew, 10 seconds after falling into the water. Apparently he didn't mind.

Nothin' better than sticks and sand!
